The objective of this webinar is to show how initiatives around Texas Instruments technology (TI-84 Family, TI-Nspire™ CX Technology and TI LaunchPad) can expose students to STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and Coding experiences that develop students’ abilities to collaborate, think creatively, solve problems and to become the innovators for the world of tomorrow - whether STEM & Coding is part of the curriculum of not.
This webinar will cover the following topics:
- Mission Imagination, a project between Texas Instruments and NASA with the goal of encouraging secondary school students to explore.
- “10 Minutes” of code as a way to bring coding into the maths’ classroom. These short introductory activities enable teachers to begin bringing valuable coding experiences into their classrooms so that students are motivated to take further courses in computer science.
- TI-Innovator™ System with LaunchPad technology, brings a micro controller board into the classroom which is being used by professional engineers to prototype new products and which makes it possible to easily explore coding concepts and the fundamentals of Making in combination with electronic components and engineering design.
